Alyssa Estacio, a 12th grader of Golden Valley High School and Student Submissions Editor, has a tendency to keep to her own little world. For this newspaper, however, she hopes to branch herself out by writing about her school campus, mediums of art, and entertainment. In doing so, she is excited to learn more about her school, art and its meanings, and other ways people can enjoy themselves on their time off. As a student journalist, Alyssa hopes that she may grow student interest in their school and inform them on other ways they may enjoy themselves in their free time.

 She may have no particular accomplishments or extracurricular activities for school or events, but she does take pride in one of her personal accomplishments. 1,000; in the time span of 2 years Alyssa was able to read over a 1,000 Japanese, Korean, and Chinese comics, otherwise known as mangas, manhwas, and manhuas, remembering over 80% of them. With time, she hopes others as well will grow interested in the comics she reads.
