Andre Hume, a senior, is part of the journalism team at Golden Valley High School as the Student Submissions Edtitor. He is a part of three clubs on campus and looks forward to the upcoming school year, hoping to make the most of his last year. Andre has always found writing to be enjoyable and a form of expression and feels that being a part of the Grizzly Gazette will allow him to fully express himself in a way that a regular English class wouldn’t be able to. He also enjoys reading other works as well; one of his all time favorites being Little Women. He feels that being in the newspaper will allow him to address and bring awareness to topics that others may not pay much attention to. 

Some of Andre’s hobbies are drawing and listening to music – that being almost entirely Lana Del Rey, having over 1100 hours listened to this year alone. While he hasn’t been able to draw as much recently, he still finds it an entertaining way to spend time and hopes he is able to do so more often. He’s the proud owner of three Yorkies which he loves very dearly and would do anything for (and has pictures at the ready).
