Holly Curry is a junior and editor-in-chief for the Grizzly Gazette. She has been a part of Golden Valley’s Color Guard team for 2 years and has even had the chance to be a 2 time soloist during her sophomore year! Right now, she is a Den Leader for the ‘24-’25 ASB team and with this position, she has learned to express her hype and excitement she brings to every occasion! Along with that, she has been involved in Theatre III’s mainstage productions and serves on the officer board of various clubs such as Film Club, Grizzlies are Crafty, and SAE! She is extremely passionate about film and animation and she hopes to bring in entertainment stories consisting of reviews and background info on new movies and tv shows. She loves playing video games, especially Overwatch and Fortnite, enjoys performing and singing and plans on auditioning for Show Choir this year, and is a theme park buff who loves thrill rides (her favorite park is Universal Studios!). Coming in as the new editor-in-chief for this semester, being a student journalist in her  eyes means to have an independent voice to express and inform others on current events she finds interesting and informative. Her interest in journalism mainly stems from my dad who’s in the industry and having the opportunity to experience a real newsroom and even be featured on TV has stuck with her ever since :)
