Izabella Pauley, Head of Marketing, is a junior at Golden Valley High School and a member of the varsity golf team, which she’s been a part of for the past three years. She is actively involved in several clubs on campus and is dedicated to her academics. As a student journalist, she is passionate about covering topics that allow students to relate to. She hopes to focus on media-related writing, such as movies, TV shows, and social media trends. Storytelling is important to her because it connects people. Being part of the newspaper staff means representing other students’ voices and allowing their opinions and ideas to be heard. Outside of school, Izabella enjoys reading, watching movies, and watching Dodger games with her family. Some of her favorite movies and book series are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Marvel. She enjoys playing sports with her family, such as golf, pickleball, and tennis. Although some friends may consider her “chronically online”, she prefers to think of herself as social media literate. Being a twin, she looks forward to sharing her own voice in journalism.
