Julian Smith, or Jules, is a 17 year old senior here at GV and Staff Writer on the Campus & Community News Team. He doesn’t do any extracurricular activities at GV because he loathes anything that isn’t sitting on his butt writing or drawing. Jules got student of the month one time in middle school and won a couple of awards at an old christian school but those are pretty insignificant because there were about a dozen other kids at that school. He loves to draw and write and thinks he’s pretty decent at it. She’s looking to cover extremely stupid insignificant issues that are more likely to give folks a laugh than freak them out because, if she’s being honest, the news gives her nightmares. It matters to him to make the news seem a bit less scary. The news always makes the world out to be this scary death trap, but in reality, while there are definitely things to be afraid of, there’s a lot of good things too. Big and small. Her overall goal is to make the world seem like a less hopeless and dark place because thinking that way makes for a short miserable life.
