Kaylee Davison is a valuable member of the Journalism team being the Head of Communications for the Grizzly Gazette. She is a senior, involved in the Truth Be Told Christian club and runs on the varsity team for cross country. In running, she’s won several medals in races Junior year, a 2nd place medal for the Thanksgiving Turkey Trot this past year, and won a 1st place plaque for a 10k in 2019. In her free time, she learns to play her electric guitar, archery, but overall focuses on family and friends. 

She is hoping to focus her writings on things that will help people. Maybe looking into the SCV firefighters or maybe churches that are doing volunteer work, along with the time to time exciting sports articles featuring football and cross country. Being passionate about getting out and doing things, it is likely to see articles on who’s doing it, how to do it, and where you can do it. 

As a student journalist Kaylee jumps at the opportunity to share her voice, passions, and how creative she is. Her hope is to help the newspaper spark and reach as many people as possible. She believes that the  many people on this campus are scared to share their voice, and uses the newspaper as an opportunity to inspire them.
