Mileah Smith is a 9th grader who is part of the 25-56 Grizzly Gazette newsroom as the Campus & Community News Staff Photographer. Mileah takes part in extracurricular activities such as volleyball at school as well as outside of school. She has always strived to take part in leadership roles at different clubs as well as in the class. Mileah has been passionate about sports since middle school and to have the ability to cover and write about the very astonishing student-athletes for the school year. Besides the work load, Mileah enjoys the combination of music, travelling, as well as hanging out with friends. Being a student journalist to her means being able to write about the things most people miss and making it interesting and readable. With Mileah having the opportunity in a great class like this, she will be able to express thought freely while enjoying what she is doing. She looks forward to seeing all the exciting things throughout the school year and taking part in as many opportunities at school as she can.
