Natasha Olvera, CEPAT News Section Editor, is a 9th grader here at Golden Valley, part of the GV tennis team, and in different clubs. She is very passionate about writing student spotlight stories and state issues. She hopes to make sure people are educated and informed. While also striving to make sure everyone feels included and seen. Some accomplishments/leadership experiences she has had in the past are volunteering constantly, 30 community service hours, National Junior Honor Society award, and Associate Student Body, helping her develop many skills. From a young age, Natasha has always loved to learn. She believes that education is a power that no one can take from you, using it later in life for your job, basic skills, and common knowledge. Some things she loves to do are travel, read and write, bake loaves, paint, act, listen to music, learn, help out, and spend time with family. She hopes to use her opportunity in journalism for good and to help her community understand issues, along with controversial topics.
