Alex Chavez  is a senior located at Golden Valley High School and the Grizzly Gazette’s Copy Editor. Coming from a news background, he has been in GVTV since his freshman year, as well as interning for over 3 years at KHTS Radio in the videography department. Rising through the ranks of JROTC, he has reached the rank of cadet captain soon to be promoted past Major to Lt Colonel. Being the Vice Commander, he has dealt with hard situations, learning to adapt and improvise. He loves learning about the community, always willing to present himself to the community. Planning on majoring in a journalism field in higher education. He plans to use the Grizzly Gazette as a stepping stone into a brighter future. He is always happy to help, learn, and willing to make mistakes. Learning from his actions to become a better person.
